2025 ICAA Preseason Top 10 Football Rankings

2025 ICAA Preseason Top 10 Football Rankings: The Independent Power Index

By ICAA Media Relations | August 2025

The Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) has released its first-ever official preseason football rankings, offering a bold forecast of which programs could be competing for the ICAA National Championship on December 13, 2025.

With this being the inaugural preseason rankings, unlike traditional regular-season standings, these rankings are based on a multi-factor evaluation model inspired by NCAA methodologies. Each program was assessed using:

  • Strength of Schedule (opponent difficulty, travel demands, home/away balance)

  • Program History (including win-loss records and past season performance)

  • Roster Development (depth, returning talent, recruiting impact)

  • Institutional Support (resources, facilities, coaching infrastructure)

  • Engagement (media presence, administrative compliance, transparency)

This model aims to reward consistency, challenge, and credibility — providing the most objective lens for independent collegiate football.
